Woah, Opelika made the front page of the New York Times. Auburn's crappy little sister city actually serves healthy/fresh food in their schools... I don't know what the deal is, but I have fond memories of cafeteria food in elementary school....

Gilmore Girls Reaction:
I'm very upset about the Gilmore Girls. I've waited a very long year through happy Dean episodes for Rory to finally be with Jess. Why can't I get a single happy Rory and jess episode??? Why can't Dean go away to Military school or something? (Of course, the last guy to try to break up Rory and Dean ended up there, but I don't see any reason for them not to repeat a plot twist.)

Mother-in-law: "Emily, I shall be gone for approximately 20 minutes. That should give you enough time to get all of my gifts out of the basement and place them around the room as if they were there year round."
